Day 1: Windhoek Country Club or similar
Welcome to one of the most desolately placed capital cities in the world and your gateway to an exciting mix of dunes, deserts and ancient cultures. Arriving on your international flight one of our representatives will meet you and escort you to the hotel. You can enjoy a meal at the hotel but we do recommend a stop at the legendary Joe’s Beerhouse for some awesome game meats in particular the Oryx Steak in a Dill and Garlic Butter Infusion – out of this world! Your journey which will allow you views of the the Hyper Arid Namib National Park and infamous Sossusvlei then moves via the jagged and treacherous coastline to the original German Colonial town of Swakopmund. Spend a couple of days partaking in day tours to ancient rock art sites, the largest breeding colony pf the Cape Fur Seal on the continent and get lost on a guided 4x4 expedition into the dunes in search of the elusive Welwitchia and the Aptly named moon Landscape.
At night enjoy some genuine German Beer and tuck into original style Eisbein. Following a brief overnight in the City of Gold we fly you to Inhambane in Mozambique for a surreal appreciation of the majesty of the coastline and diving here.

Day 2: Transfer to Namib – Sossusvlei Dune Lodge or similar
Your private flight charter will depart WHK Eros airport at around 10am Arriving at the Sossusvlei Dune Lodge Airstrip approximately 1 hour later - you will be met by a representative from the lodge and shown to your rooms and briefed on the area and issues of safety. After lunch you are invited to join a guide who will take you to view the Sesriem Canyon just down the road. Coming back to the lodge freshen up and cool down while the sun dipps below copper dunes.

Day 3: Sossusvlei Dune Lodge or similar
Namib: a Khoikhoi (Hottentot) word meaning "desert" or "place of no people."
Spend the day appreciating the wonder of this desert, the oldest oxidized red desert in the world, here the life cycle of a grain of sand and stand in awe as you realize the rich diversity of life in this inhospitable land. Your guide will introduce you to the mysteries which lie beneath the sand surface or soar on the thermals by this desert earth. Interpretation is the key to appreciating the beauty of this barren and foreboding landscape. On arrival back at the lodge enjoy cool waters and a refreshing drink.

Day 4: Swakopmund – Swakopmund Hotel or similar
You have the option to go on a scenic flight to Swakopmund or drive with your guide.
Your flight transfer from the airstrip will leave around 10 am and wind its scenic flight via Sossusvlei, "Old Diamond Mines", Conception Bay (Eduard Bohlen & Shaunee Shipwrecks), "Lange Wand", Sandwich Bay (Flamingo's), Walvis Bay (Saltpans) to Swakopmund drop off. The flight lasts approximately 2:15min and is the only way to fully appreciate the scale of the moving desert after having paced her skin yesterday. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and get the formalities out of the way.

Swakopmund, Namibia's second biggest town and traditional "summer capital", is one of the most surreal and unique destinations in the country, a sort of central Europe meets the African desert next to the ocean kind of place. It is often the place to get some rest and recreation after a dusty trip to the desert dunes of Sossusvlei or the Namib-Naukluft Parkthere's plenty to do and great places to stay.

Day 5: Swakopmund – Swakopmund Hotel or similar
Using 2 man Rhino Buggies you will enjoy a guided 4x4 drive in the desert. The trip leads you out into the Swakop
Riverbed and past the rock formations, "Lunar landscape", and an oasis then across the dry barren planes towards the
"Sea of Sand" the dune field. The trip is at your leisure and will have one driver guide with. ( Alternatively we can make
use of a Land Rover 4x4 and make use of this instead. )
Come back and have lunch at one of the numerous coffee shops littering the town, why not check out the Crystal Gallery or the Natural History Museum or stroll down the beach at The Mole. Concierge at the hotel will be able to assist with other arrangements.

Day 6: Swakopmund – Swakopmund Hotel or similar
Spend the morning on a full day excursion heading North to the largest permanent breeding colony of Cape Fur seals on the continent, then you will head inland for approximately an hour to view the Matterhorn of Africa as well as some rock paintings left by the Khoi San a hybrid of the Khoi – Khoi and San peoples who roamed these plains. Your local guide a born and bred Namibian will be able to give you real insight into the area and all that she holds close to her heart. He will also prepare your Al Fresco lunch that will be enjoyed “somewhere in the desert” is possibly the best description, relax its all under control. Cape Cross marks the spot where the first European explorers landed in Namibia, in this case in the form of Diego Cao in 1486. The date on the stone that marks the spot where the Portuguese landed is also interesting: 6665 - years carefully counted from clues given in the bible! As was the habit of early Portuguese explorers, he and his shipmates erected a cross (in stone) which was promptly removed by German explorers some 400 years later! Now beside its historical interest the huge colony of seals is well worth the visit.

Day 7: Swakopmund – Swakopmund Hotel or similar
Day at leisure or we can pre book a dolphin excursion for clients. A gentle cruise on the lagoon takes you past the seal colony at Pelican Point, while dolphins swim and play alongside the boat. Enjoy sparkling wine and oysters while lazing in the sun and simply enjoying yourself! Dolphins are found in this area all year round and the possibility of feeding friendly seals onboard the boat is an experience never to be forgotten.
This is a great way to see the ocean, marine and bird life.

Day 8: Flight to Windhoek to connect with flight Maun or Home.
As part of our triple 7 special this will be day 1 of your Botswana section of the tour. Alternatively this will be your final
flight back to Johanneburg for your onward flights.
