Arrival at Nairobi airport, meet and greet by
representative and transferred to city hotel. Dinner or
late night snack available for those on incoming flights.
Day 2: Nairobi – Holiday Inn –

Morning meet and greet with participants and the
guides for the tour, departure for lunch at carnivore
restaurant. After lunch city tour of Nairobi and visit
the National Museum. Dinner
Day 3: Masai Mara –
Sarova Mara

We depart for the majesty of the Masai Mara this
morning. En route we will pass through changing
landscapes and arrive at our permanent tented camp in
time for lunch. After settling in and maybe taking in a
quick nap we will head out to the wilderness area for
our afternoon game drive. Sarova Mara Camp also acts as
the headquarters for Transworld Safaris and the Hot Air
Balloon services they offer. We recommend that if you
are interested in partaking in this activity booking is
made way in advance to avoid disappointment. Sarova Mara
is a centrally located, tented camp in the heart of the
Masai Mara in the middle of well-grazed grasslands. It
is an excellent base from which to depart on early
morning and late afternoon game drives, rest in the heat
of the day you will need all your energy for viewing.
A swimming pool is such a treat at Sarova Mara Camp, and
this one will cool you off in the heat of the day when
all the animals are resting (and when you should be too).
Expect a wide choice of extremely good food at all meals,
which are served in the main lodge. At Sarova Mara Camp
you will also find a bar and entertainment area where
Maasai warriors perform traditional dances to the
amazement of visitors. Dinner
Day 4: Masai Mara – Sarova Mara

This morning we visit a Masai community of the
Manyatta village, we will then have lunch at a nearby
lodge followed by a 3 hour walk together with a Masai
warrior on easy terrain and then return back to camp
with an en-route game drive. Dinner
Day 5: Lake Naivasha –
Sopa Lodge

We leave the splendour of the Mara behind as we head
further North toward one of the great lakes and the
spectacle of the Lake Naivasha. A comfortable drive gets
us to our lodge in time for a hearty lunch and the
opportunity to unwind and settle into our new
surroundings. Spend your afternoon at leisure & enjoy a
short boat trip on Lake Naivasha with your guide who
will give some background to this area. Time permitting
your guide may be able to take you to Elsamere, the home
to Joy and George and now a museum and awareness centre.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Sopa Lodge or

Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for full
morning game-drive in the park. Lunch at Maili Saba
Camp, Menengai Crater
Afternoon return to lodge. Dinner
Day 7:
Amboseli Conservation Area –
Satao Elerai Luxury Tented Camp

Today is our first longer day on the road to get us
to Amboselli in the shadow of the famous Mnt
Kilimanjaro. Renown for its concentration of wildlife
and views of the surrounding areas. We depart early this
morning and enjoy a sit down lunch en route at Ol Tukai
Lodge before entering Amboseli and having a game drive
en-route. Dinner
Day 8: Amboseli Conservation Area –
Satao Elerai Luxury Tented Camp or similar Morning at leisure
enjoying Mount Kilimanjaro views & some down time, Lunch
at the camp lodge. In the afternoon we meet up again and
enjoy a game drive in the conservation area. Dinner
Day 9: Amboseli Conservation Area –

We head out this
morning under the guidance of a Masai guide who can help
interpret the environment and the secrets she holds.
After lunch a bit of time to relax and then in the
afternoon an en-route game-drive & visit to the local
Maasai community. On arrival back at the lodge we will
enjoy a champagne sundowner. Dinner
Day 10: Tsavo West –

A leisurely morning departure for Tsavo
West heading on the main road toward the coast and
stopping off for the night in Tsavo West. En route we
will stop off at the Mzima Springs with a geological
walk & en-route game-drive

Day 11: Mobassa –
North Coast Beach –

We rise early this morning to get
in our final game drive of the day. We then come back to
the lodge to freshen up have breakfast and load up the
vehicles for our journey to Mombassa. This vibrant city
dating back to the 12th century offers a mixture of
beaches, local history, bustling markets and a great
deal more. Let your guide assist in your particular
interests.
Lunch will be had at our beach resort. Afternoon at

Day 12 & 13: Mobassa – North Coast
Beach – Severin Sea Lodge or similar
The following 2 days are there for you to indulge in
the pursuits and interests of your individual preference.

A reclamation project of waste quarry land to create
gardens and a habitat for a number of animals including
giraffe, crocodiles and hippos. Located next to the
Bamburi Cement Factory on the road to Malindi. ( 041

Mamba Village Crocodile Farm
A crocodile farm at Nyali with a daily later
afternoon show (041 475184).
Mombasa Marine Park
Glass bottom boat trips are organised by hotels and
local tour operators to view the coral.
Mombasa Old Town
Near Fort Jesus is the Old Town is a collection of
buildings that are worth exploring.
Mombasa Dhow Harbour
A few Dhows are to be found and Dhow trips can be
arranged. Dining is possible on the Tamarind Dhow
Restaurant (041 475074).
Jain Temple
The temple on Digo Road is open to visitors who
enjoy the design and scents and atmosphere.
Kenya Marineland
An aquarium at Mtwapa village
Day 14: Mobassa – North Coast Beach –
Severin Sea Lodge or similar
This afternoon we will al meet up and have a guided
tour of the city and some of the highlights of the area.
Do not let this stop this from exploring the area in the
preceding days however as there is a large amount to be
covered. This evening we have our final farewell dinner
on the Tamarind Dhow. Dinner
