Day 1: Port Elizabeth – Brookes Hill
On arrival and touchdown on your flight, we transfer to our accommodation to allow everyone the opportunity to relax and unwind. This evening we will have a thorough breakdown of the tour and what to expect. This is dependant on the flight arrival time. Failing this, the meeting this evening will be postponed and moved to tomorrow morning. Please ensure you have a copy of your passport as well as insurance details for your guide at the meeting.

Day 2: Port Elizabeth – Brookes Hill
Relax during the day or opt to partake in an optional real City tour of Port Elizabeth. Alternatively why not have a round of golf at The Humewood Golf Club. Just down the road is the casino and The Boardwalk Centre. Then time to relax in the late afternoon.

Activities: Optional visit to Aquarium in Port Elizabeth, Casino, Boardwalk or a last swim in warm water.
Dinner: Local Restaurant

Day 3: Knysna – The Graywood
Leave Port Elizabeth and make our way to Knysna on the N2. Stop off at Tsitsikamma National Park for Lunch and a stroll to the Hang Bridge if desired. Second stop at Monkeyland Sanctuary and then into Knysna. On arrival we check into our hotel and meet for dinner. Your guide will point out areas of interest. Being situated in town makes exploring a pleasure.

Day 4: Knysna – The Graywood
This morning is free, then at 14.30 we depart for the Featherbed Nature Reserve for outstanding views of the towering Knysna Heads, The Knysna “Lagoon” and Thesens Island. This is a half day activity. On returning to the mainland we reunite for our short journey to Belvidere where we dine at Phantom Forest Restaurant on a six course extravaganza. With some amazing wines available we will indulge ourselves in food and wine pairing.

Day 5: Montagu – Montagu Hotel
We move North today and cross the imposing Outeniqua Mountain Range en route to Oudtshoorn for an hour in the
underground labyrinth of the Cango Caves one of the most extensive Limestone cave structures in the world. At 12:30 we depart and make our way East to the heart of the infamous Route 62 and overnight in the slumber town of Montagu set in the heart of the wine producing region of the Overberg Region.

Day 6: Cape Town – Lady Hamilton
We leave this morning and head toward JC Le Roux for a Champagne tasting at the largest producer of sparkling wine in
South Africa. Following this we head toward Neethlingshof Estate for some fabulous award winning red & white wines. We enter Cape Town mid afternoon and get ready for the festivities to come.

Day 7: Cape Town – Lady Hamilton
Today is at your leisure to see the aftermath of New Years. Make your way up Table Mountain, head to the Waterfront to shop – maybe indulge in a massage at one of our spas. For those wanting to have a round of golf why not try the Royal Cape or Atlantic Beach Golf Course. Or alternatively chat with your guide about other options.

Day 8: Cape Town – Lady Hamilton
Delve into our rich and at times shady history from the arrival of the first representative of the VOC in 1652 to the forced removals in district six. Join us on a comprehensive tour of Robben Island – a true testament to the human spirit and determination. The day is designed to give you a better understanding of where South Africa comes from and its role in broader African politics. Most importantly though what the future may hold in store for us. After our journey to Robben Island we meet up with one of our local Langa guides who will show us through the oldest group areas act African town and the vibrance which streams out of it. An amazing experience which focuses not on the hardships but the need of joy in survival. Truly moving and humbling.

Day 9: Stellenbosh – Kleine Zalze
Without a doubt the most popular of the tours in Cape Town We hug the Atlantic Seaboard passing through the Riviera of
Cape Town on the Clifton and Camps bay road. We then head to Hout Bay where those who feel inclined can indulge in a
Seal cruise. Then off to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via the winding and gravity defying Chapmans peak. We stop for lunch at The Two Oceans Restaurant. Staying with marine life we stop at the largest Jack Ass penguin colony in Africa ( Not really there name has only recently been changed to the African Penguin due to irreversible psychiatric problems experienced by the species. ) We end the day in Stellenbosch at our Lodge. Day 10: Stellenbosh – Kleine Zalze
World renown for its quality wines we move through the region and try out two differing vineyards for tastings and a little more.
